Rubber bonded slitting wheels are used when the accuracy of cut is of utmost importance. With wheel diameters ranging from 25mm to 350mm and wheel thicknesses ranging from 0.12mm to 10mm, we are confident in offering rubber bonded slitting wheels to suit your specific cutting application. A large range of qualities are available for cutting steel, high speed steel, tungsten carbide, molybdenum, chrome, vanadium, titan, copper, ceramic and many more.

A large factor in ensuring the high precision accuracy of cut is due to the minimal tolerance on width produced during manufacture, +/- 0.02mm. This means the wheels are very suitable for applications in the medical, aerospace and automotive industries.

The qualities developed vary by way of hardness of the bonding system, grain material (Aluminium Oxide, Fused Aluminium Oxide or Silicon Carbide) and grain size. We recommend an optimal operating speed of 35m/sec to 50m/sec.
