We appreciate the diversity of our industrial customer base and recognise that no two customers have the same needs. We pride ourselves in providing a tailored service to all our valued customers.
We supply directly to end users and to a selected network of independent distributors. Our customers span numerous manufacturing industries. These include the aerospace, automotive, medical, fabrication, foundry and steel industries.
Where a customer utilises the services of a site-integrator, whilst developing solutions with our customers’ application engineers, we also work closely with the site-integrator to ensure that effective and efficient logistics and stock management prevent any disruption to supplies. We also ensure that both the site-integrator and end user are kept abreast of any technical innovations relevant to their industry.
Our Service
To service our customer base, in addition to our sales team located at our Colchester head office, we employ technical sales representatives covering the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland. For highly specialised, industry-specific applications, we can call upon the technical expertise of application engineers from our partners. These application engineers are highly qualified and experienced in specific industrial grinding applications, such as bearings, rolls for steel mills, gears etc.
Our Warehouse
Our purpose-built 4,500+ sq ft warehouse is adjacent to our head office. It houses an extensive range of abrasive products. Orders placed for stock items are packed and shipped to arrive at our customers within 24-48 hours. In addition, we also have access to thousands of stock items held by our European partners. Using modern logistics, the products can be shipped to our warehouse or directly to the customer within two-to-three working days.
Bespoke Quality Products
We strive to supply the optimum bespoke quality products, thus many of our products and qualities are not found in our literature or catalogues. We achieve this by working in close collaboration with our customers, identifying areas requiring improvement. This could include surface finish, geometry, grinding cycle etc. Once identified, we liaise with our partners to develop a prototype solution for testing. This philosophy is used for many types of products, ranging from miniature mounted points for the aerospace industry to 1000mm grinding wheels used in the production of steel and paper rolls. In short, we don’t just sell out of a catalogue; we recommend, manufacture and test bespoke products to suit your unique application, with the goal of enhancing your production processes with a cost-effective solution.
